Arbor Insulation Launched

Arbor Insulation was launched in 2005 with the idea of changing they homes are built and use energy. It is our hope that we could help people build homes that are more energy efficient, safer, and more comfortable.

The idea of using spray foam insulation to reduce energy requirements of a home has several benefits. It can help home owners reduce energy utility bills by 50% - 70%.  Reduced energy usage helps the environment and reduces our dependency on foreign oil. Other benefits of the insulation include a safer building material that does not support mold growth and a better sound insulator. To read more about our starting point you can read about us in an article that was published in the Ann Arbor News.

You will note that the Ann Arbor News article reports that we offer a product from Biobased Systems made from soybean oil. We no longer carry that product. It was a good building material, but we had some operational difficulties instaling the product. We now carry a product from Demilec that allows to insulate homes more efficiently and at a lower cost. In the near future, we will be offering a product from Demilec that will based on renewable materials.
